So cool, I saw in Lamentations 3:30 that concept of turning the other cheek to the one who strikes you -- Jesus must have been referring back to this when He spoke those words in Matthew 5:38-39!! - but the CONTEXT is if you've sinned, accept your punishment/discipline (turn other cheek). Because on another occasion in John 18:23 Jesus challenges them saying "why do you strike me?" when He was in the right. Before I thought you just always had to turn the other cheek but there is also a place for challenging those who treat you unjustly.
