Excited Expectation!!

When your faith is ALIVE, you EXCITEDLY await how the Lord will lead you and provide for you in REAL TIME as you go. It's exciting because our walk is ALIVE with Him, not just reading a book or waiting til a Sunday service.
I've seen time and again Him come through and give me wisdom or provision when I or my family needs it. I'm not perfect, but my God is, and I'm on His path to perfection, in His mercies.
Scripture basis: don't plan what you're gonna say, but trust the Spirit to give you the words in the moment - Luke 12:12.

You > (greater than) me

I repent.
I repent of making You merely a figment of my imagination, limited as it is.
I seek to see your glory in my mind, but I've fallen short.
Yes, tis true, I only "see" you dimly with this mind,
And thus I will go to the solid Scriptures to enhance my imagination
And understand your greatness just a bit more.
I subconsciously compared myself to You, trying to feel if I could've handled the Cross you bore.
And now I know the answer.
Shame on me for comparing myself to You.
Your Glory - is only yours.
Your Cross - of course I could never have borne it.
And that is why You are the Holy One of God, the exact image of the Almighty Father.
You have shown me my place and I am grateful.
I will let You be You and me be me,
Snuggling up in your embrace, my Worthy King and Shepherd.
All the glory is yours, yet I give the Father praise He invites me to be Your brother because of the great sacrifice You made.
New Serenity Prayer

Heavenly Father,
Today my family and I will be gentle and patient.
We will enjoy your joy each moment.
We will stop and smell the roses.
We will not rush.
We will forsake rage and embrace understanding and grace instead.
We will rest with YOUR peace, Lord Jesus.
We will rejoice in YOUR joy, Jesus.
We will love with YOUR love, Jesus, as you have loved and forgiven us.
We will think about others more than ourselves, now that the King has cared for ourselves so intimately and completely.
By your Spirit, Lord Jesus,
Amen.
